The Brewery Lofts, Boston
The Procaccianti Group is proud to announce its partnership with Commonwealth Ventures, LLC in the redevelopment of The Brewery Lofts, a historic rehabilitation to 79 loft-style residential condominium homes.
Originally built in 1893 and expanded periodically thereafter, the site played host to The American Brewing Company, a major Boston-based brewery. Critical elements of the historic portions are preserved and enhanced, ranging from large period clocks mounted at the peaks, to Queen Ann style details throughout. Every effort was made to preserve historic portions and interesting architectural details, resulting in an attractive and engaging urban development.
The result is an eclectic mix of old and new, with the main historic buildings providing the majority of the living space and new construction providing structured parking and additional residential units. The project includes a 5,000-square-feet interior courtyard for a quiet, private setting.
The Brewery Lofts is conveniently located on the Heath Street Green-Line T-Stop, adjacent to the Longwood Medical Area (Harvard Medical, Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s, etc.), Jamaica Pond, Olmstead’s Emerald Necklace Park System and Brookline Village. The Brewery Lofts combines a central Boston residential location with quick access to downtown Boston, Back Bay, the Fenway, and Routes 9 and 1 (The Jamaica Way).
The residential condominiums will have a mix of available floor plans, with homes ranging in size from 680 square feet to over 1,700 square feet. Loft homes will be fully applianced and will feature vaulted brick ceilings, carpeted loft mezzanines and large industrial replicated windows. Ceiling heights range from 10 feet in the new construction to 14 feet and 18 feet in the historic buildings. Private and secure interior-structured parking exclusive to the residences is also featured.
Construction is underway with completion scheduled for Spring, 2007.
